Applying God’s Word
Apostasy is An act of refusing to continue to follow, obey, or recognize a religious faith; the abandonment of a previous loyalty: DEFECTION!
Some say the “Great Apostasy” is happening around the world right now. It’s not about the folks who don’t believe in Jesus. It’s about those who used to, but have moved away from believing in Him and His truth. There’s a hefty price to pay for doing that, though. It’s called “Hell”.
If I want to know the truth about anything, I am very careful to fact-check the source, that is the people claiming to speak or teach truth. Most of my sources can be found right in the bible. The best source that I’ve come across in the last 35 years is Jesus. His truth has never changed.
Accounting of God’s Word
Have I drifted away from God’s truth? Do I only rely on what my itching ears want to hear? Do I believe the Book of Matthew Chapter 24?
