Applying God’s Word

This scripture seems to be appropriate for anyone who speaks the truth these days. Jesus words of truth angered the Herodians and the Pharisees. The Herodians saw Jesus teachings opposed to their interests. The Pharisees didn’t believe that Christ was the Messiah. If we tell the truth today, we could come under attack by more than one or two groups. It could cost us a career or everything we’ve worked for. I think my actions should speak louder than my words. It’s the one place the truth can still be found and then lived out. It’s also the best way for me to avoid being a hypocrite.
