“Then he touched their eyes and said, “According to your faith let it be done to you”; and their sight was restored.” Matthew 9:27-31
Applying God’s Word
When I read this scripture, I think about how blessed I am to have my eyesight and not be wearing glasses at age seventy-two. The scripture says something more important to me, though, than that.
As my faith has grown so has my ability to see the things of God. When I was just getting to know Jesus, my spiritual eyes were open, but it was more like a squint.
I am not saying that my eyes are completely wide open. I do believe, however, that as our faith grows, our eyes see things they were not able to see before.
