Isaiah 6:8 “The Three P’s”

Absorbing God’s Word

“Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send” And who will go for us? And I said, “Here am I. Send me!” Isaiah 6:8

Applying God’s Word

Recently, I spoke to a group of Christian women and men from the workplace. I don’t solicit these opportunities, but always pray about the ones Jesus wants me to entertain. I also pray about what He wants me to say to each group.

The title of the talk was Applying Christ’s Teachings. God asked me to align some scriptures to what I refer to as “The three P’s” Prayer, Permission and Purpose.

I shared that daily prayer is necessary if we are to fall deeply in love with God. We are more willing to give Him permission to use us, if we fall in love with Him. Once we give God permission to use us, He shines a light on His purpose for us being here.

I know my purpose, even though I fail miserably at fulfilling it perfectly. I am a work in progress. ;>)

Accounting of God’s Word

How am I doing with The Three P’s? Am I showing up for prayer each day? Have I given God permission to use me? Am I fulfilling His purpose for my life?
